Tuesday was a transition day... we started the day in Yangshuo with a Tai Chi lesson outdoors in view of the beautiful mountains. We then took the bus back to Guilin where we had a bit of time to relax (Sonia couldn't resist "swimming" in the giant bathtub in our room) and then a nice farewell dinner with the group. After dinner, some of the kids showed off their talents. Sonia sang two songs in Chinese that she learned in her Cricket class to great applause.
It was a wonderful tour and a great group to travel with. We'll miss both our guide through the tour, Ms. Linn, and also the wonderful kids and parents on the tour! We exchanged emails, promised to exchange pictures, and hopefully will keep in contact with a few people.
Wednesday, we fly to Guangzhou to then drive to Sonia's birth city Yangjiang.
Pictures...
What a view! Sounds like relaxing day. That is a very cool swimming tub. Good thing you had some songs ready for the on the spot talent show.
